Internship Opportunities

Would you like to be a Treefrogger for a semester?

Here at Treefrog, every day is different—which is one of the perks of our careers. We're a dedicated group of talented creatives that love strategy, helping others, and coffee. Well, except Kelly, she likes tea.

Is previous marketing experience necessary?

No! While we do ask that our content interns have writing experience and our graphic design interns have Adobe Suite experience, you don’t have to have any marketing-specific writing or design experience.

How long do internships last, and how many hours are required?

We ask for a 10-hour-per-week commitment from our interns. We’re flexible with days and times and recognize that school (and job interviews) will come first. Internships last 10-12 weeks and run with your academic calendar, meaning we don’t expect you to come to the office during breaks.

Are Treefrog internships paid?

No, initial internships aren’t paid. But, to make up for that, we’ll work hard to give you invaluable experience and help you build your portfolio! As an added bonus after your internship is complete, you may be asked to stay on for part-time hours or even freelance work.

As a digital marketing agency, focused on helping small businesses, we can help you gain real-client experience.

As a full-service, small business marketing agency, we have opportunities to work with all kinds of clients (from all-natural produce providers to law firms) on all kinds of projects (from logos to full marketing campaigns). This keeps us busy—and we like it!
As an intern, it’s no different. From day one, you’ll experience what it’s like to work on real projects for real clients. Our goal is to give you a hands-on experience while still having fun on the job.

Content Internships

Qualified candidates love to write and tackle new challenges. You’ll learn about the strategic side of copywriting and be given the chance to work independently. Responsibilities include (but aren’t limited to):

  • Blog development and scheduling
  • Search engine optimization (SEO)
  • Social media content development and scheduling
  • Research and analysis

Design Internships

Qualified candidates love to design and rise to the occasion when presented with a new challenge. We ask that graphic design interns have experience with Adobe Suite, and if you’ve ever worked with WordPress or MailChimp, that’s a bonus! Responsibilities include (but aren’t limited to) designing:

  • Brochures
  • Business cards
  • Email template layouts
  • Logos
  • Social media ads and graphics
  • Websites
